Dublin Streets // Wearing Primark Cardigan (what a cute find!), H&M top, Stolen Girlfriends Club bow ring, Karen Walker cat ring, lion necklace
Diary entry from: 18th November 2013 Dublin, Ireland
I had a terrible sleep last night. I feel like it was because I wasn't in a double bed but also because I stood up to some meat-eaters on Facebook and I was worried about comments back.
We got breakfast at the supermarket - I brought pieces of melon and cherry vegan yoghurt and a coffee. Coffee wasn't so good.
We walked over to the Samuel Beckett Bridge and joined up with our SANDEMANs Tour Group. It was so informative and we learnt about the Irish history. After learning about it in Belfast it was great to hear more of it on the walking tour. The tour guide, James mixed in modern stories such as the killing and legacy of Veronica Guerin, how Bill Clinton is respected in Ireland and the old; the potato famine, escapee of the Dublin Castle.
After the tour we needed food for Booyum filled our tummies. We went back to Generator Hostel which is rad and headed out to a gig. Last night we think that the falafel inside our kebab we had been fried in beef fat. It was really gross.
[After this entry I didn't write in my diary about the rest of my Dublin experience. I had such a great time in this city - I love that my favourite Spanish shop is there; Kling and also that there was a bar that we instantly liked. It had Pearl Jam bunting and I drew my name in the toilet so when we go back I will see if it's still there.
Now that I didn't write anything in my diary about my Dublin trip I can't think of what I did. Bad Kirsty.]
