Scottish blogger or a Kiwi blogger in Scotland? Now a Kiwi blogger in Dublin, Ireland. UDPATE: Actually now living in Auckland, NZ.
Kirsty Likes Flowers came from wanting to share travel experiences with others through the format of a diary. I write in down in my diary and share it after the fact with photos from my Olympus OMD camera.
I enjoy fashion, people watching, travelling to new countries, finding new vegan products, music whilst leading a healthy lifestyle.
In 2013 and part of 2014 I lived in Edinburgh, Scotland and freelanced with webbactivemedia and Bright Sparks. Along with the freelance work I worked full time at Rare Management as an Events Executive organising events such as the Fort William Mountain Bike World Cup, Sky Ride Edinburgh, Sport Relief Mile, Slide and more.
But before all of this: after studying a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Theatre I then went onto a Diploma in Radio Broadcasting. My career started in the Auckland radio industry working for The Radio Network across two stations in their Promotions department and volunteering at 95bFM.
Moving to small town Whangarei I continued my work with The Radio Network in a new role as Promotions and Sales Assistant. This work included digital aspects and a new passion was sparked from there.I then joined the Bright Sparks Auckland team as their Online Manager where I covered all of the companies digital activity.
With my plan to always experience overseas, I moved over to the other side of the world. I attended music festivals, gigs, and travelled in the weekends.
With the freelance work still flowing I have made a move to Dublin (a mini holiday!) and will be returning to New Zealand for the New Year.
