Diary entry from: 25th October 2013 Blackpool, UK

Well this place is amazing. Like I'm not sure if it's amazing in a good way. We arrived and straight away we were like 'what the fuck?'. Everyone looks really unattractive and British. Like in their clothing style. I think it's like a crappy version of Nice i.e by the seaside. I wonder how the Blackpool marketing team feel about this place.

Here, gambling mixes in with children's activities as does drinking. We went for a big walk after arriving at Bed and Beach Hostel (F++++++) [admittedly the owner was really nice and friendly] and walked along the piers. We didn't do any rides but took lots of photos and got a photo booth picture done. Downed a bottle of red from Poundland Halloween cups. We ate Subway for dinner - yes, we chose not to eat obviously the standard Fish and Chips for tea. No vegan food around.

Fingers crossed Liverpool makes up happy and not depressed xx
