Victor from Two Hands Tattoo in Auckland, New Zealand used this to create my flower tattoo on my shoulder // Maybe in Stockholm I'll get more?
How does it feel? Actually having a some money! It feels so good right now. It's actually quite surprising to think that we're going to have so much money leftover each month. It's been so long since we were both earning money and not saving specifically for our Overseas Experience.
It's refreshing knowing that we are able to start enjoying the city and what better time than now, just in time for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We've planned that we're going to do a bender of a week - for one week we are going to go out every night, see something, drink something, eat something. Now just to figure out as a Fringe newbie what to see/do?
UP ON THE CARDS: Travel wise we've also planned (optimistically) to travel once per month. With our optimistic attitude we've planned out the following:
August - Tickets, and accommodation booked in Stockholm, Sweden. Have even enquired with Speak Easy Tattoo Parlour about getting some more flowers done.
September - Haven't planned anything as I have two different weekend events during the month
October - Friends from Germany joining us and we're going to trip around the Highlands in a campervan. Need to book everything for this.
November - Nothing planned?
December - Travel to London and spend Christmas with London friends, then fly to Barcelona, Spain for a couple of nights, trip to Valencia, Madrid, and then onto Lisbon in Portugal and fly back to Edinburgh. This would mean that I wouldn't spend NYE in Edinburgh/Hogmanay which I found out yesterday I could get free tickets to (my work office neighbour offered).
January - Ski trip somewhere. Unfortunately I won't be able to go to the ANZAC service in Turkey as it doesn't really fit in with work and an event on at that time. We shall see.
So what do you think? I am incredibly excited about all the travel planned!
