FLSHBKDY: On thin ice

Ice skating in Hamburg // Wearing Country Road scarf, KW necklace, H&M Jacket, Zara fringe top, Hourglass lipstick

30/1/13 Wednesday. On train to Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Ice skating was so much fun yesterday. I fell over and JE couldn't really skate but it was so much fun! We caught the train there from Hauptbahnhof and after skating we saw an arrest. Crazy. That was in the Reeperbahn area so kind of expected that. From there we did a little bit of shopping. I am trying to find jeans as I ripped my Dejour jeans (RIP). Best jeans ever! I am actually sad that they are gone.

Also need hair conditioner so got some of that. We got home to relax before heading to meet Liam in town to catch the train to meet Linda. We were off to try a traditional currywurst (vegetarian version)! It's cut up bits of sausages with sauce on it along with pomme frites. Delicious.

We then walked to Kampnagel which was where Conor Oberst was playing at. Such a good gig. We've got the gig buzz now and have brought tickets to see Dinosaur Jr. in Paris! The gig last night was great - but it was a sit down gig - makes so much difference in how the audience participates. I brought a gig t-shirt. Yesterday was one of the best days I've had on my trip. Both JE and I were in good moods with anticipation all day for the Conor Oberst gig that night. I brought a book a Thalia (massive book store). Looking forward to reading it... It's about a 100 year old man who runs away from his nursing home. Skyped Mum and Dad yesterday morning. They seem really good and it cheered me up hearing from them.

The above diary entry is a flash back to my ‘Europe’ diary.
