Sneak peek: Freesias, Amsterdam and Rotterdam

I'm a day and a half back from my Amsterdam and Rotterdam trip after travelling there with friends from New Zealand and Germany. Being part of our old friendship team felt so good! No boundaries, no hiding emotions, along with the surreal feeling of being together on the other side of the world.

Whilst I'm at work thinking about said travel, Jared who is on school holidays was catching us up on food at the grocery store. Rather than getting our normal weekly daffodils he went for purple freesias which are always a delight and smell beautiful.

On arriving at Amsterdam we jumped/and squeezed inside the photo booth and snapped the above coloured image.

Last night when I was smelling the freesias I got whimsical about my travels and couldn't help snapping both my photo booth images together. The black and white photo was from Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin / Jan 2013.
