Drinking red wine in the Pentlands, Edinburgh // Grass and Kirsty
Moments before our deer moment // Bonaly Reservoir, Pentlands
Camping! We're camping in the Pentlands tonight. Thought it was a good idea to try out our tent and blow up bed before we go to Glastonbury. So here I am, drinking a mug of Jacob Creeks red wine after a big walk. On our walk we saw two deer grazing next to Bonaly Reservoir, such a special moment to share with JE. We've got corn, buns, potatoes, patties and sausages for tea tonight on the BBQ.
Oh, I forget to mention that Bruce Springsteen is playing in Glasgow on Tuesday night, I'm going to get off work early to get the bus there to watch him play. Work has been going well since I got back from Fort William. It's pretty much a fact now that I'll stay on - and to be honest I want to! I want to learn how to book advertising, plan events and be apart of the next World Cup. They are pretty relaxed and I'm sure they'll understand I want to travel more.
Catching up with an NZ friend on Monday who has gotten back from Africa and then on Tuesday seeing another NZ friend. JE has gotten confirmed as a supply teacher (relieving classes) which I'm proud of. I spoke to my Mum last night and they've pretty much finished doing up their house to sell - sad! But I am very excited for them. Big ups to them - changing up their lives. Live life ruthlessly! Live in the moment.
10 minutes before we saw the deer today I told JE that we should take in the moment and 10 minutes later we were lucky enough to see beautiful wild animals.
