Everything planned far from now

Exploring in Stirling, Scotland // 

We’ve been planning trips for the future and have had a couple wee day trips in the past (Stirling, Cramond). Excitingly our holiday up to the Highlands is happening next week! We’re going with friends visiting from Germany and planning on one night at Loch Ness, and two nights at Broadford in Isle of Skye. I want to see seals, and wildlife!

The following weekend we have Blackpool, Liverpool and Manchester. I’m taking a couple of days off for both of the holidays above as JE is on school holidays. We’re going to be so touristy and do the whole Beatles thing. I read Paul McCartney’s memoir when I first arrived in Edinburgh, so will be cool getting a refresh on all I read.

We booked our 3 day tour for ANZAC day last Sunday, along with flights to Athens, then flights to Istanbul for the tour, and then back to Edinburgh. That one was expensive and I’m sure we’ll feel the effects of all that spending come the end of this month. I worked it out though and flights and the tour all up each came to £400… Not too shabby, although we still have to get accommodation.

JE’s birthday is coming up. He wants a second hand amp so if you’re reading this and have one for sale, hollah. On his birthday we fly to Belfast for two nights, then we’re busing to Dublin. The backpackers we’re staying at in Dublin is next to a whisky brewery!

It’ll be my first Christmas without my family, but thankfully I have JE. We’re going to spend a couple of days before Christmas in Brighton, then Christmas in London with some Kiwi friends, and fly to Lisbon… we fly out of Barcelona on the 5th of January. Everything in between is all up in the air.
