Feeling sleepy. In our hotel room at the moment. Vanadis Hotel is where we are staying. I guess it's what we paid for on Lastminute.com but it's pretty average but never mind!
Stockholm is so cool, so many attractive men on bikes with tan skin. Our flight went well - it was long but ok. We went out for dinner to a mexican place after we arrived. This morning we picked up our friend Paul from the bus station in Edinburgh but had to say goodbye to him to catch our flight. He's a great laugh and has been to so many more places than us, it's crazy.
We've started to realise all the places we want to check out are all in Södermalm, like food, tattoos, cafes, and bars. All in Södermalm. Going to hire bikes and head there tomorrow so it's all good. We got through one quarter of our 100cl bottle of Jaegermeister we brought duty free tonight. Wow it's sweet on the tooth.
Yay can't wait to check out everything tomorrow! Yippee!

In our room in Stockholm. Tack! Just learnt how to pronounce it properly with the lady at reception. Our day has been crazy busy and all over the place! We got bikes and went on our way...
Saw Gamla stan (The Old Town) - such a beautiful area but of course touristy. Checked out the churches, parliament and went to find coffee that was recommended in a blog - it's called Coffice, like a coffee shop but also an office space. Honestly the best soy latter I've ever had.
After that we had lunch in a square in the sun on these lounger chairs. Unfortunately Speak Easy Tattoo Parlour didn't have space for me to get another tattoo - I wanted to get a Buttercup somewhere. It looked like the perfect place ever - you walk through to a room which had teacups and lots of pink decorations. It was great!
We went along to gondola - we thought we couldn't get past the restaurant at the top but we did! We mustered up the courage to walk through the bar so that we could see the city of Stockholm from up high. Stockholm is amazing, everyone is so attractive. We also went to Flyt bar, a bar on a boat in the harbour. There were also fish swimming around the boat that you could watch.
We went on a massive bike ride along the waterfront and turned back and headed to Södermalm to find Tradgarden but couldn't. Another day we might find it [we didn't].
For travellers heading to Stockholm you'll be disappointed to find out how hard it is to find alcohol at a local shop. We spent a lot of time trying to trek down some of it. [We didn't]
We're heading to Djurgarden Island tomorrow - theme park, zoo, Vasa museum - fingers crossed it's sunny weather!

I can't read my writing previously and I'm drunk. That's how dfkldsjf everything!
[As you can see in the above clearly writing in my diary drunk isn't a good idea. On the third day of being in Stockholm we went to Djurgarden Island and saw wild deer wandering. A duck also ate a grape from my hand.]
